It sure doesn't feel like Spring! The troop participated in the 2013 Lumberjack camp last weekend and learned the true meaning of "be prepared." Rain and cool temperatures left a lasting impression on those who forgot to bring extra socks and rain gear! Overall the troop worked well as a team and had a chance to practice some important outdoor skills! Our troop is also showing it's age as there are a few boys rap...Read Full Post »

Notes from Jim Hubbard:
Hope everyone had a great time skiing this weekend. 29 made the trip, with 27 skiers and lots of excitement and fun, with only one minor injury, a few bumps and bruises, and some minor sunburn. 11 of our boys who did not previously have the Snowsports merit badge were able to complete the same and will have them awarded at our next CoH. At the lodge we worked on some advancement requirements and...Read Full Post »

The Scouts worked hard today and earned $540 by washing cars! Scouts and the parents who helped should sleep well tonight. Although everyone worked hard, I think most people had fun at the same time. Don't forget the yard sale fundraiser next weekend at the Kiser's.
